The immature golden crowned sparrow was present at our feeders from about 8:30
a.m. to 10 a.m. this morning. I have a photo of the bird on Facebook along with
one I took four weeks ago (presumably of the same bird). The url should be
publicly accessible:

I'm pasting in directions to my house that were posted here last month by Kim
Eckert. Please feel to drop by. I would ask you to please park on College St.
rather than trying to bring your vehicle into the alley which is a dead end,
and used a lot for access to garages by my neighbors. Thanks. Here are Kim's
directions:

"From I-35, take the 21st Ave East exit, follow 21st up the hill until it ends
and merges with Woodland Ave, turn right on Woodland and go to the 2nd
stoplight at Clover St, turn right on Clover and go 1 block to 8th Street,
turn right on 8th and go 1 block to E College St, turn left and go 1/2 block
to Brad's house (a beige stucco house on left side of street). The feeders are
on the left side of the house and are visible from the street; you can also
walk up the alley which passes right next to the feeders. Please be careful
where you park, since the street is narrow with lots of snow making the street
narrower still. Because of this, park well away from driveways and the alley
so residents don't have any difficulties getting into and out of their
driveways."
