After being shut out on my past few trips to Prescott, WI I decided to stop today after work. I was rewarded by some very nice looks at the harlequin both through binos and through the camera lens. At one point the I thought that the duck might get out on the ice on the Wisconsin shoreline he came so close. Fortunately there was OK light, it's always hard to shoot from the Wisconsin side of the river in the evening because of the setting sun, and no steam coming off of the water.
