Well, White-winged Crossbills have now been seen in all the extreme southeast MN counties this year. I had heard about a flock near Pilot Mound in Fillmore County, but before I could even get there, I found some just south of the Winona/Fillmore County line along Hwy 43, at it's intersection with CR 27. Finding them in Houston County was a little harder, but eventually, I found a flock of about 20 in the town of Caledonia, at 1st and Lincoln Streets. I thought about trying to add them to my Iowa list, but that would involve going to Iowa. Dedrick Benz Winona, MN
