Greetings from the FOREST by the Straight River in Faribault:
At 1:00 p.m. today Kirstan and I returned from birding in Rice County, west of
Faribault to Warsaw. We saw 2 Crows, 1 Blue Jay, 3 House Sparrows.
When we came into our apartment I went to the kitchen window to see what birds
might be there. WOW! TO my delight there were three Redpolls. Two were
Common Redpolls and one was a HOARY REDPOLL.
That makes the 77th and 78th bifrd for our yard here in Faribault
