Hi everyone,

Today, at around 3:45 pm, I checked out Wells Lake for the first time this
spring. The ice is opening up more than I had thought, but it was pretty quiet.
The best find were three drake Hooded Mergansers.

There were also a few Common Mergansers near the railroad trestle at
Alexander Park.

Not much, but enough to get the juices flowin'!

Good birding!
