I have a friend who is a fellow nature lover and wanted to go see Sandhill Cranes this weekend or next. He specifically wants to see them dance their courtship routine before they form pairs. He asked me for information because I am a birdwatcher but I have no idea. Does anyone know when the cranes in MN do their courtship displays or if they have already formed pairs before they get to MN? I know timing for events such as this can be variable. Any information would be greatly appreciated, even if it's to say that there is no way of knowing.
