>From the hastily written reporting this morn, I must add Frank Gosiak's >spotting of a Northern Goshawk in the Sobieski area of the Swan River (which I >missed while taking a phone call), FOY Meadowlark, several E. Bluebirds, Tree >Sparrows, Juncos sheltering from the wind/snow in the tree-edge of the >Flensburg Sewage pond, 2-Northern Shrikes. But as for today: Sheetwater ponds are frozen today. The Mississippi R in St. Cloud has Class 3-4 haystack rapids below the Sauk River bridge, yet the Goldeneye court with the eddies off of them, many feeding and head-bobbing the lee of the flooded islands, the Mallards and Geese holding face in the newly floodbank lagoons. mjb
