It appears that the consensus on the Goose ID I requested was that of a "Graylag Goose", which is a type of common domestic goose. One responder stated that these have been fairly typical in the Fergus Falls area. Thanks to everyone for the input. Hopefully spring will soon arrive to west central Minnesota! Michael
