Howdy all,

They showed for the first time this calendar year yesterday here in Farmington.
We haven't had them here since last October. For a short comparison. The last 5
years living here avisys shows first arrivals on the 3-31, 3-20, 3-16, 4-7, and
this year the latest 4-10. Other migrants like Orioles have shown every year
with in 6 days of each previous year. By April 10th the last five years there
has been 42, 37, 37, 37, and this year 31 species seen in our yard. The next
south winds we get should really bring some birds with them. Can't wait.

It is a beautiful day and I am stuck home working on the computer. In the
yard we have a pair of Purple Finches hanging around.
