Woodcocks are peenting, and the Sandhill pair flew low across the road this evening.
Merlin
Fox Sparrow
American Tree Sparrows
Red-winged Blackbirds
nice to hear Robins singing early in the morning

In Beltrami County
Great Blue Heron, flying west over US 2, just west of Solway
Osprey, standing on one of a pair of nests on Cty 14 west of Bemidji
Black-billed Magpie, Cty Road 503 (west, continuation of Cty 16)
Eastern Phoebe, Cty Road 503 (west, continuation of Cty 16)

Flocks of Robins Everywhere
A. Kestrels in force and mostly paired up. I must have seen a dozen on my travels today.
Barred Owls hunting in the front yard around 5 AM on Friday.
