This morning there was an osprey on the platform on Country Road C2 between Lexington and Oxford.
At Lake Vadnais a FOY tree swallow and a possible Eastern Kingbird -- had just a fleeting look but it was in the place where the kingbirds usually hang out. On the lake were a few cormorants, a pied-billed grebe, and a loon. No sign of any mergansers and only a few mallards and Canada geese.
