I saw a single male Avocet at Bass Ponds this morning ~1020am. If you walk ~20 yards from post #7 towards post #6 it was at the distance of the beaver lodge about one binocular field to the right. Around 10 minutes later it flew toward post #6, but I couldn't see it again or where it landed. This must be a good year for Avocets hereabouts. Wish I brought my scope. Jim
