In addition to the Say's Phoebe and Western Tanager already posted on mou-net, the Minn Birding Weekends group found a few additional birds of note this past weekend, May 1-2-3, included on our list of 135 species:

- Gr White-fronted (4), Ross's (2), and Cackling geese (3): May 1, Butterfield sewage ponds, Watonwan Co; quite surprising to find these late-lingerers, considering they were among a flock of only 50-60 geese (mostly Snows); a few other late white-fronteds also found at 2 Cottonwood Co locations.

- 16 shorebird species: including Willets (all 3 counties), Upland Sandpiper, and both dowitchers (most probably Long-billeds).

- Eur Collared-Dove: May 3, Windom, Cottonwood Co (pair along 6th St, a few blocks E of Hwy 60/71).

- Eastern Meadowlark: singing at 2 Watonwan Co locations (4 mi W of Madelia, 0.2 and 1.0 mi S of CR 3), and in Cottonwood Co (Wolf Lake WMA, 1.4 mi E of Windom); unusual in SW Minn.
