Hey birders!
I had a chance to get out briefly this morning and went down to check out the
shorebirding at Cobb River WPA. I was rewarded with Willet (1), American
Golden-Plover (24), Semipalmated Plover (2), Long-billed Dowitcher (7), Lesser
Yellowlegs (25), Pectoral Sandpiper (~150!), Least Sandpiper (10), Solitary
Sandpiper (1), and Spotted Sandpiper (3). Wilson's Snipe were doing displays
at the WPA too!
Other FOYs for the day: Blue-winged Warbler, Palm Warbler, Northern
Waterthrush, Forster's Tern, Sedge Wren.
