This evening between 6:30 and 8:00, a Harris's Sparrow was present along the east edge of the St. Paul campus "mall" (along Eckles Avenue in front of Coffee Hall). I saw the bird 3 different times, always in clear view on the pavement of the street and on the nearby lawn. It was hanging out with a group of White-throated, White-crowned, and Chipping Sparrows.
