Just in time for the Festival of Birds. The strong southerly winds last night produced a nice influx of passerines. I saw 5 FOYs out the window during breakfast this morning. Also many yellowish warblers fluttering about while driving through town (unknown species). Saw six sanderlings on the city beach last night at dusk and at least one Herring gull still present this morning. Strong southerly winds again tonight.
