Juvenile Gray Jays are abundant this year in the Crane Lake area. I am
seeing them everywhere. My neighbor has a family of 5 coming into his
feeders, 2 adults and 3 juveniles. They had a very successful year in
raising young ones, despite the cool, dreary late winter and spring weather.
I have a photo posted at the following location:

The young ones are very curious and tame. They make a bill clacking noise
when they are begging.

(I tried to upload the photo from my PC to the showcase and/or the MN
gallery on the MOU website, but my photo is too big, despite the fact that I
reduced it to 400 x 300 pixels and it's only 100kb. Any advice on how to
upload would be appreciated; I guess it has something to do with the exif
header)
