While carrying out a BBS this Sunday morning, I was delighted to find
a Northern Mockingbird at one of my stops in eastern Wright County.
The bird was perched on a fence along a horse pasture on 5th St NE
approximately 0.5 miles east of Ibarra Ave NE. The spot is just
southeast of Steel Lake along a lightly traveled dirt road. I've
attached a Google map of the location for those interested. Seems to
be a good year for mockingbirds in MN.
