Jim Otto called a little after 9am this morning to say that the Brown Pelican had just flown into its favorite spot on the rocks by the 2 buoys that can be seen from Jason Adam Ct. off Co. Rd. 13 in Le Sueur County. It was not there, or any where else that Doug Kieser and I looked last night. In addition to the pelican there is a Common Loon that has been seen on German Lake and 2 Sandhill Cranes that have been seen and heard in the area of Swede's Bay on Jefferson Lake.
