There were 113 egrets in the trees and along the north and west edge (along Rice Street) of Lake Vadnais this afternoon. We have never seen that many egrets at one time. No sign of the pelicans today but we saw them flying around near the TV towers along 694 yesterday. There were 13 trumpeter swans on the lake today as well. (3 on the west part, 10 on the main lake)
