On a tip from a friend I checked out an area along Flying Cloud Drive south of the airport and found two adult Lark Sparrows. ?To get to this area take Flying Cloud Drive south from the Eden Prairie Mall area and pass the Flying Could Airport. ?As the road bends to the west after the airport it goes down to one lane. ?From that point in .2 to .3 mile there's a left turn on Riverview Road. Take that left turn and park immediately. ?Walk back up Flying Cloud Drive about a hundred yards to the hillside on the opposite side of the road from where you parked. ?The hill has scattered cedars and deciduous trees and bushes, with town houses at the top. ?Look around in that area. ?The birds I found where closer to the top of the hill.
