The MOU will once again have a booth at the State Fair: Thursday, August 27 thru Monday, Sept. 7 (Labor Day). Your volunteer help is needed to convey your entusiasm for birds, birding and conservation to the general public. The booth will be operating from 9:00AM to 9:00PM We are suggesting 4 hour shifts with two volunteers per shift. The 9:00AM volunteers will set up the booth ( stored nearby in the DNR building) and the 5:00PM volunteers will put the booth away. Volunteers will receive a free pass to the Fair to enjoy either before or after your shift. Sign up for more than one shift and double your fun! All you need bring is your friendly enthusiasm, drinking water and sunscreen. No need to be an expert birder, all levels encouraged to sign up! We have set up a google calendar for those who want to self- sign up. To volunteer and receive directions for the calendar, contact one of the emails below.
