Ritter Farm Park, Lakeville, Dakota County 8/1/09 I was surprised to find not one but two OSFL foraging only ~25 meters apart. They were about 200 m WNW of the parking lot. The MOU-site shows an early south date of Aug. 3. This is fully 2 weeks earlier than my previous early record. And it really felt like fall to boot. A nice contrast was an Eastern Wood-pewee still incubating. Remember, it's August...anything is possible.
