A change has been made in the entry of an RQD. The species is now entered from a list of Minnesota birds instead of a free form entry. The county and date are also entered with drop-down boxes. This change was made so that any bird reported with an RQD will also be reported to the seasonal report database.
The species entry is now two boxes. This allows entry of additional, optional species information, such as the scientific name. It also allows entry of a species that is not yet on the Minnesota list of birds (potential first state records.) The location field is also two boxes.
