I took a short ride out on Aitkin Couty Road 15 west of town this
evening and found a few interesting things. Probably the most
interesting were NINETEEN BLACK-BILLED MAGPIES in one flock about three
and a half miles west of the junction of Minnesota Avenue North and 4th
St N.W. Also seen: two families of SANDHILL CRANES, two TRUMPETER SWANS
on the river by the road and three otters on the river also. Warren
