Yesterday at dusk at Reservoir Woods in Roseville, I was surprised to find a
white-breasted nuthatch catching bugs. 

Light was low, which made for a confusing few minutes as its silhouette was
unfamiliar for that kind of behavior. It took a while to ascertain that it
indeed was a nuthatch, but indeed it was, acting like a flycatcher, except
that most of the time it would assume a climbing rather than perching
posture between flights. 

Anyone see that kind of behavior in a nuthatch before?
