I have had hummingbird feeders up for around 5 years now, but I have never seen as many hummingibrds during migration as I have this year. This must have been a good nesting year for them. Too bad they spend most of their time chasing each other away from the feeders. I have 3 feeders located out of site from each other, as that was recommended to me.
I don't understand how I see pictures in magazines of people holding up feeders with 5 - 10 hummingbirds drinking from them when all I see is the "Big Chase".
