Hello everyone,

Here's my Park Point/Canal Park sightings from recently. It's so nice to be
back in lovely Duluth, and being up at Hawk Ridge makes the area even that
much more spectacular! Hawk weekend is Sept 11th-13th at Hawk Ridge. Be sure
to stop on by if you're in the area then :)

Although I have the day off tomorrow, I'm planning on helping the hawk
counters up at the ridge. Since last fall, I've found the feeling that
it's hard to get enough hawk ridge in the fall. Time sure flies when
you're having fun! Yesterday I got to see my first true kettles of
hawks since last fall, and boy what a blast it is to see raptors
moving through in large numbers.

Good birdwatching,
Erik Bruhnke
