Birded all of the Blue Hill trail and the wildlife drive today.  Thanks to a
very kind birders excellent instructions I got to see the family of Common
Moorhens in Big Bluestem pool.  While observing those I was also treated to two
Soras flying between the reeds halfway between the moorhens and the water
control structure.  Only a smattering of warblers (I actually saw more species
of sparrow than warblers).  Fair number of yellow-throated vireos.  The most
interesting siting on the Blue Hill trail was a BLACK squirrel right after
entering the conifer woods past the overlook.  I've never seen a black squirrel
before.  Doesn't count for my bird list, but it was quite interesting.  Of
course it refused to pose for a picture....
