7 brave birders dodged the rain 2 hours or so at ww hills. lots of birds
including many unidentified warblers. ruby crowned, golden crowned kinglets,

white throated sparrows were about with all the usual residents and common
migrants. the highliht oi the day was 2 great horned owls being

harrassed by a MOB OF CROWS. THANKS to George for the great look in the
scope. the previous afternoon there were flocks of migrating birds

overhead including chimney swifts (100), ring bill gulls from low to
thousands of feet in the air, bluejays, fliickers,rw blkbrds, cedar ww, and
other

passerines were everywhere in the sky and woods heading south. how did they
know bad weather was on the way. the last of the brave birders are

thinking of doing purgatory creek next Friday. any input from interested
birders will be welcome. hope everyone has a good weekend of birding.

Vic Lewis mtka mn scottsdale az ps the rolls from crossroads deli were
