Anybody know if this species has been recorded from the Spirit Lake area this fall? We looked Sat PM for a couple of hours with no success on either side of the state line at the area called The Grade in Jackson County, MN and Dickinson county, IA.
Other birds of slight interest in SW MN this weekend included a somewhat late Yellow-bellied Flycatcher in the tree line south of the Pipestone Nat Monument in Pipestone County. Also a early White-throated Sparrow was at Blue Mounds State Park in Rock County. Both on Saturday.
