Peder Svingen, Eric Bruhnke and I were at WI Pt. trying to relocate the
Slaty-backed Gull on Sunday. When I left at 2:45pm there were no sightings of
Slaty-backed Gull. Since Saturday I spent at least 17 hours looking for this
gull.

Sightings at WI Pt. ( looking towards MN )
- Golden Plover
- Thayer's Gull ( 5 1st cycles were present when I left and 1 adult )
- Glaucous Gull ( 1st cycle )
- Bonaparte's Gull ( 8 )

Today ( 11/2 )

A Red-bellied Woodpecker flew into my yard and spent an hour or so visiting my
feeders. Hopefully it'll stick around through out the winter. This is a new
yard bird for me.
