For the past few evenings, 200+ Canada Geese have been rafting up for the
evening on Diamond Lake in South Minneapolis (Portland Ave. S. and Diamond Lake
Road). Mixed in with the flock is a Snow Goose, and Mallards and a few Coot
also were present. There were few waterfowl at Lake Nokomis. Best viewing is
from the Pearl Park parking lot, right across the street.

Subject: [mou-net] Hooded Warbler, Dakota Co.

Today around 12:00 I found a male Hooded Warbler at Lebanon Hills Regional Park
in Dakota County. It was singing incessantly for the 10-15 minutes I was near
it. I know others had seen one there this spring (and last year as well) so
I'm assuming this is probably the same guy on territory.
