Earlier today, the MBWbirds website (http://mbwbirds.com) finally
became a reality. Thanks to some help from Tony Hertzel, one final
technical problem was solved, and the site looks like it is working as
it should. Here, of course, you will find information on Minnesota
Birding Weeks & Weekends (MBWs), including some past trip reports and
registration forms. In addition, there are updates to A Birder's Guide
to Minnesota, the "Birding by Hindsight" series of articles from The
Loon, and even a checklist of Minnesota sewage ponds, with more
features to be added in the coming weeks,
Also today, I e-mailed out confirmations to those registered for the
2010-11 MBWs: please let me know if you registered for any MBW by Nov
28 or earlier and did not receive a confirmation e-mail. Note the
