Had 36 species on the Cottonwood count and 42 on the LQP count. Highlights were: Cottonwood Eurasian Collard Dove 55, 24 in Hanley Falls and 31 in Cottonwood. Robin 32 Cedar Waxwings 45 Rough-legged Hawk 1 Kestral 1 Lapland Longspur 58 Horned Lark 353 Wood Duck 1 House Finch 8 LQP Ruddy Duck 1 Cackling Goose 1 Sharp shinned Hawk 1 Meadowlark 1 (probably a western) Short-eared Owl 1 Rusty Backbird 2 Robin 48 Cardinal 17 Horned Lark 360 Brown Creeper 14 Harris's Sparrow 1 Wild Turkey 47 I also participated on the Lamberton and Marshall counts. My highlight on the Marshall count was a Townsend's Solitaire
