Craig Mandel and I waited for the White-winged Dove at Warren Wegener's home
in Burnsville (Dakota County) this morning from 7:45-9:30. The bird did not
show up, however, there was lots of other bird activity at the feeders, with
the highlight being a Sharp-shinned Hawk that cruised through. (Hopefully he
doesn't have a hankering for doves...) There were many other birders there
as we left; hopefully they will post if they see it. The White-winged Dove
was last seen yesterday for a while starting at 8:35am.

As we left, a Northern Shrike was chasing a bird in mid-air. Pretty sweet.

We also checked the MSP Airport in Bloomington (Hennepin Co.) for the
previously reported Snowy Owl at 10am. We did not find him, neither.

Good birding!
