Fellow larophilians, I have scheduled the following 3 dates to view gulls at the Black Dog power plant. We will meet at 3:45pm each day.
Dec 26 Dec 30 Jan 1 Sorry about the short notice for today (Sat. 26th) but ill health has slowed me down a bit. Paul Budde and Mark Ochs will be the leaders today. Participants should gather in the parking area across from the power plant's main gate along Black Dog road. Entry into the plants parking lot will be at 3:45pm, so late comers will not be able to access the site. I have no idea how many gulls will be present, but certainly numerous waterfowl can be expected. In the event a rarity is found, I may be able to negotiate additional viewing opportunities, but no guarantees. Be sure to thank any and all Xcel employees you encounter for the opportunity to access the site.
