Hello Hello I am wondering how to apply for a binocular mentorship kit. Forestville/Mystery Cave State Park has weekly summer bird hikes and averages about 10 people per trip every Sunday, June through August. There are anywhere from 2 to 25 people that have shown up at these hikes and the problem is that they are almost all beginners and usually have no binoculars. I used to get the kit from Quarry Hill nature center and bring it back to them every now and then but there is just no time to do this anymore and there is a large need. The State cannot afford to purchase the binoculars themselves. Is there an underused kit somewhere that can be transferred to Forestville?
