Spoke to a group of 40-50 youngsters about birding this morning in Elk
River, ages 10-17.
Used the Mentor Kit's CD, the group knew 40+ of the 50 birds portrayed -
including gender on many of the photos. They asked great questions,
interacted exceptionally well.
If this group (a secular home schooling association) is any indication of
our youngsters in Minnesota, birding will thrive in the next generation.
