Ran down Stoney River Road in front of us for over a mile 5 Spruce Grouse (3 males/2 females)--about 7 miles south of MN1 on Stoney River Road one male in full display on the road Boreal Chickadees at nearly every stop with spruces...Not a single Black-capped Chickadee! Small flock of Bohemian Waxwings in Ely off Miner's Drive Saturday 2/27 The only flock of White-winged Crossbills we found was a small flock of females off Hedbom Road in Aitkin County...Much less common than a month ago. Rough-legged Hawk along US2 near St. Louis River Two migrant (?)
