This morning in Dakota County on Black Dog Lake I enjoyed seeing a a good variety of ducks and it was exciting to see "50" Canvasback in town. There was a large raft of 35 together and 15 more flew in and joined them. There were also 6 Redheads, 3 Ring-necked, 2 Gadwall, 1 Rudy, and both Greater and Lesser Scaup. Ducks were moving up and down the Lake amongst the Common Mergansers and Common Goldeneyes.
