I just saw a large flock, 25+, of White Pelicans flying west over South Minneapolis, Bancroft neighborhood. They appeared to be riding the thermals, as they would bank into the wind they would appear to disappear then turning again brought them back into clear view again. I have never seen White Pelicans in the city before.
