There is still plenty of room if you would like to sign up for the "Birding the Bend" MOU trip to Blue Earth and Nicollet counties on May 22-23. Last year on this trip the group had a very successful weekend, finding over 150 species. The highlights?

-Cerulean, Prothonotary, Kentucky, and Connecticut Warblers
-Lark, Grasshopper, and Henslow's Sparrows
-Whip-poor-will
-Hudsonian Godwits, Ruddy Turnstones, and American Golden-Plover
-Western Kingbird
-Blue Grosbeak

Just to name a few. This spring's trip will be one week earlier than last year's trip, which means we'll have a shot at even more warblers (hitting the "late peak"), more shorebirds, and even more surprises. When you're birding the bend of the Minnesota River in late May, anything is possible.

If you would like to register for this exciting weekend trip please email me at [email protected].
