There was a female (quite beautiful) eastern towhee feeding on the ground with a few northern cardinals and chipping sparrows around 11:30 am. The red winged blackbirds completely monopolized the seed feeders with some common grackles. The downys and hairys were also busy at the suet feeders. There were very few chickadees and white breasted nuthatches. I don't think they enjoy the commotion that the black birds cause. The towhee picture (links to it) will be available upon request...
