Yesterday, while visiting a family at their farm, I observed the birds that were coming to their feeders and saw a Harris' sparrow, White-throated sparrow, White-crowned sparrow, and at least two male Eurasian Tree Sparrows, with the clearly brown cap rather than gray and the distinctive dark cheek patch. They were eating from the ground right under the feeders. Directions: Go west on Hwy 30 from Stewartville to Oslo. Turn south and go 7 miles. Farm is on right side of the road number 29611.
