Three delightful volunteers have stepped forward to enjoy staffing the two
shifts at Springbrook Nature Center in Fridley this Saturday!

We really would like at least one more person and three more would be even
better because of the expected attendance for this popular and free event.

Please check your schedules and see if there is any way you can work in a 9
am-to-noon or noon-to-3 pm shift. This is a great family event. Springbrook
Nature Center is being referred to as "Birding Centra" for the event and a full
6 hours of family activities are planned there during this time.

If you haven't witnessed or taken part in the amazing activities that can take
place at this nature center to use fun and adventure to educate and inspire
potential and existing birders - this is a must for you!

You will carry the memories of the event, the many faces you will see, and all
the folks you will connect with - for a lifetime. This is the main reason I
enjoy volunteering and I am a complete introvert!

Don't miss this opportunity! You don't need to be an MOU member or expert of
any kind to staff. Just bring your passion for birds. I would think that once
you experience your shift, you will be filling out a membership card for the
MOU because we are passionate about birds and those who love them - just like
you.

Come and play, won't you?

I am finding that enrolling birders to staff an event table is like a hundred
dollar bill lying on the ground - everyone walks by and sees it but assumes it
belongs to someone else or that someone else will pick it up. This opportunity
is yours to pick up.
