17 American Avocet at Gislason NWR in Lincoln County on 13-May-10. Directions: On Highway 19 at the Lincoln-Lyon County line, Gislason NWR is to the Northwest of this intersection. Take the gravel road North along the county line to find parking. 15 species of shorebirds were present, though total numbers were less than 500.
