The National Weather Service in Duluth has issued a dense fog advisory until
noon on Tuesday. When I left Park Point today the fallout continued and the fog
was getting thicker. However by the time I drove to the top of the hill it was
sunny and warm! The temps at the point were in the upper 50's or so. This
weather should be conducive to holding the existing birds and drawing in more
that get lost in the fog. Lots of insects were present and the birds were busy
gleening them from the shrubs and trees. I had 22 species in about 1.5
hours...fun stuff.
