Interesting mix on Blue Hill Trail, Sherburne NWR, while leading a couple of new birders: Orchard Orioles (male & female, involved in dispute with two kingbirds) - both Cuckoos calling - Olive-sided Flycatcher (generally a two note call, once in a while could hear the opening "quick", 1-2 have been here for over a week).

No sign of earlier Cerulean, only six warblers total on day and nine on week. We have not had a late surge as Duluth had.

Enjoyed watching Scarlet Tanagers, Pileated Woodpeckers, American Redstarts and others through newbies' eyes, brings a freshness back to birding.
