Upon checking the nest cam first thing this morning we found that all five babies were gone. Only 12 days old and just begining to feather. We found two dead near the nest with no sign of injury, then found one alive and seemingly unharmed, which we returned to the nest box. In the past we have lost eggs to sparrows and wrens, but this was new. Anyone have any ideas?
